Fluunt Data Flow Automation

Fluunt is an EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) server that is used to automate day to day business process workflows. Fluunt is a platform that is used to automate business process workflows resulting in improved productivity, increased accountability, help with compliance and added structure around processes.

What is Business Process?

A business process is a set of interrelated tasks linked to an activity that spans functional boundaries. Business processes have starting points and ending points, and they are repeatable.

Fluunt Business Process Workflows
- A workflow consists of process logic and routing rules.
- The process logic defines the sequence of tasks and the routing rules that must be followed, as well as deadlines and other business rules implemented by the workflow engine.
- Pipeline processing is where an input file is subjected to a linear succession of processing. If the processing is disrupted at any point then the whole process is either stopped or forked into an exception process.
- Processing of documents/files using business rules in a sequential fashion.
- Fluunt does not define the business rules, it merely interacts with the business actors to provide input and extract the output while recording the process. It provides pipeline processing of files based on XML definitions of the process.
- Error handling and recovery is built into the process such that errors can interrupt the process and notifications sent for manual intervention.
- Fluunt simplifies process automation using pipelines of tasks chained together to fulfill a process definition.

  - Fluunt allows process automation based on a files being added or changed within a folder on disk. This provides an intuitive and user-friendly way for end-users to interact with applications and can greatly simplify integration between applications that can output and ingest files.
